winter*
It was bitterly cold today, but lots of sunshine. I decided to head to the conservatory for some winter shots. I didn't find much inspiration. There was a lot of brown and bare. I found this empty nest. I wonder if the bird family will be back this spring?
I know it's winter and that I live in Michigan. It's supposed to be cold and snowy. But I'm ready for a thaw!

Love that shot - we had a nest in a tree at our other house and the bluejay family came back eash spring! I loved peaking at them. I just saw my cardinal this morning too - my favorite bird - he and his mate live near us now - love his bright red against the white snow.

You can be talkative all you want! lol I don't mind. Sometimes I feel like I'm talking to myself here.
I'm glad your cardinal and his mate came back. I hope you find baby cardinals this spring.
